Overseeding & Fertilising

Our main way of seeding is with our tractor-mounted disc seeder's. With this option, you have much greater control over where the seed is sown, the rate at which it is sown and at what depth it is sown.

By using turf tyres we achieve minimal surface disturbance and the big plus on this system is the seed is placed directly in to the soil which helps speed up the germination process as well as keeping it out of reach of those hungry birds.

We also utilise a tractor-mounted dimples seeder when sowing seed on bare soil or when doing an in season over seed.

Options for smaller and more sensitive areas such as bowling greens and cricket squares we utilise pedestrian spreaders to broadcast the seed.

Fertiliser plays a vital role in maintaining the health of the grass and appearance of your sports pitch. It does this by providing building blocks for growth.

Without it, you're going to see slow growth, poor recovery after damage, and unsightly grass plants aswell as other potential factors such as disease.
